Killing Joke++
A smallish show Wednesday night. Good time. Probably the least amount of ass Laga has sucked in several years. It helps that the album they're touring on is quite good. I'm happy to own it. The sun's vomiting, and Jaz Coleman looked mildly irritated to find himself in Pittsburgh. Can't say I blame him.
In other news, I've been rebuilding and reworking several machines at the workplace, and have gotten a bit sidetracked from ATC, which is a major annoyance. Chapter two scene two is scripted and ready to start on, after which the drafting table and natural lighting in the work area were immediatly ripped out by a stealthy ninja horde. Distraction after distraction- tell a person a few obvious keys about getting oneself motivated, and suddenly it's a nonstop telephone leghump. No wonder people who know their shit keep their mouths shut.
I'm probably going to Laga again tonight. Not that I really want to- it's an all ages halloween thing featuring bands I typically make fun of, and there will be kids. And sucks. Lots of sucks. Gag. Both of my typical alcohavens are clogged with holiday-themed events of uckiness- the sort of thing that makes Laga oddly appealing. :P
Oh, and I can't think straight. Been fairly hard to do that for the past few days. At least the scripting is done- all I gotta do is pull my head out of my ass and do some artwork.
Well, lots of artwork. This time last year, an entry of this type would have turned into a masturbatory to do list. I know what I'm doing now, and I have a pace, a method, and all that other fun stuff. It's all a question of wether to start it up in October or November.
In other news, I'm sick of the mercury design again. I'll probably do something about it at some point in the near future, with more emphasis on revising the css, streamlining content further, etc, etc. Or I'll cease with the distractions and get my ass right back on ATC, which is where my booty belongs. :D
