Concept and development work for photoshop sequences in ATC, done in the spring of 2002 when a lot of the initial development on the webcomic was being done. Both of these sequences have dialogue- bad dialoge. It's not that I can't write, it's that when you're basically flying with less than half of an outline, your work is going to suffer accordingly. I'm presenting both of these sequences, each of which is 5 pages, as just the visual work, without text. I like the output and will probably be using something similar in the webcomic for some sequences. The idea is to experiment with different styles as a means of storytelling- I'l need to acquire a digital camera to actually do this the way I want to, as the digital source material that's completely mine free and clear is quite limited.
The two sequences focus on two different organizations dealing with two different situations, hence the difference in color schemata between the two. Both involve two different parties communicating over the airwaves. It should be possible to get an idea as to what each sequence deals with just by looking at the images- if I keep these plot possiblities, both will be completely reworked for smoother dialogue and probably executed completely differently.
